Ms. Hongbing TangAn award-winning artist and designer, Ms. Hongbing Tang teaches art and design at different levels, from college to community education. Her creative artworks have been exhibited in Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, at galleries in MetroWest, western Mass., and on Martha's Vineyard. In recent years several of her watercolor artworks were selected for national and international art exhibitions in Boston and New York.
Ms. Tang graduated from Tsinghua University in China with a B. Arch. degree. She received a National Scholarship Award from Sigma Lambda Alpha Honor Society and an Arts Council grant while pursuing two master’s degrees at the University of Massachusetts. She received a number of grants from Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council for her art programs held in the public libraries. Ms. Tang is an experienced art and design educator. She started teaching private art lessons in 1998. In 2021 she received a National Educator Award Certificate from Scholastic Art & Writing. She is the founder of Apple-Leaf Studio and co-founder of LANDD International LLC, a landscape architectural firm. She has been teaching at Acton Chinese Language School for 9 years. With a unique perspective as an artist and designer, Ms. Tang would like to share her talent in teaching by exploring the creative art world together with her students and being part of their success. |
