​May 2016

Ms. Tang's watercolor "Tuning" won Voitto Jarvi Watercolor Prize from Fitchburg Art Museum  during the 86th Regional Exhibit in Art & Craft. 

​Ms. Tang's watercolor was selected by the New England Watercolor Society for "Brushes with Nature" exhibition held at Plymouth Center for the Arts. Show time 11/13 - 1/6/2021

Ms. Tang was awarded 2018, 2019 and 2022 Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council Grants (ABCC) for her Asian-theme art workshops at Acton and Boxborough Public Libraries in summer (2018 Sensu fan, 2019 oriental lantern, 2022 digital art) 

​Ms. Hongbing Tang teaches watercolor and mixed media courses at the Boston Architectural College. 


Ms. Hongbing Tang was awarded an Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council fund for her Chinese watercolor workshop at the Acton Library.

​Ms. Hongbing Tang's artwork and teaching in the community was featured in the Fieldbook of BSLA (Boston Society of Landscape Architects), Spring 2016 Issue, pages 72-73. ​

May 2016 - Dec. 2017

​Invited as a guest reviewer,  Ms. Hongbing Tang attended the final studio reviews at the Boston Architectural College to give design critiques for the first-year studio courses from Spring 2016 to Dec. 2017. 

April 2016

​​Ms. Hongbing Tang won a grant from Acton-Boxborough Cultural Council for her Oriental Stone Art Workshop at Boxborough's public library. Click here for workshop details. ​

March 8, 2016

Invited by School of Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA), Ms. Hongbing Tang attended the outstanding art educators' reception at Education First, Cambridge, MA.

March 2016  

30 students of Ms. Hongbing Tang won 2016 Mass. Junior Duck Stamp Art Contest Awards, ranging from 1st, 2nd, 3rd Places and Honorable Mentions.  ​

December 2015

​Ms. Hongbing Tang taught acrylic and mixed-media art classes at Acton Chinese Language School (volunteer-based) in both Spring and Fall 2015 semesters.
